@MM-Matt the current logo is a stock, free logo that TL chose to fill the space while developing the meat and bones of the product. We'll be seen as a joke if we have cheaply used that as opposed to something the community designed in what is supposed to be a decentralized, high-value token & project. It's not an option on the vote because it's not an option... and we don't want whale votes going to waste on a very bad branding decision.

@MM-Matt the concern was always branding and marketing-illiterate whales voting for something detrimental to the brand so those options were left off

@MM-Matt a free logo which anyone in the world can make and legally use in 2min is not good enough

@MM-Matt my second point is not a personal opinion. A stock image which is not trademarkable or original in the slightest for a "millionaire's" token and something TL wants to make big is not going to work. Imagine in a few years when there are a few logos looking exactly the same because everyone in the world is allowed to use it. It's an idiotic branding decision.

@MM-Matt I didn't have anything to do with the proposal btw. Where were you a month ago when we were discussing the correct way to do things?

@MM-Matt propose that to someone who makes governance votes if you want your voice heard but you should've spoken up last month. I'd argue the "correct" way to do it would be to vote to change the logo vs not change the logo FIRST and then once you've taken the leap you don't look back and you choose the direction forward otherwise too many biases come into play with "oh my fave option isn't winning, lets just stick with what I'm comfortable with".
