Metafora
Anyone see the new Opera based Crypto Brower for desktop and mobile? They also have a "gaming" browser... Gotta hand it to them, one of the few browsers innovating outside of privacy/security and performance (looking at you too Vivaldi; also nice).

@JustinTime4Tea Opera and Vivaldi are both not privacy friendly. For more privacy and crypto techs Brave would be a better choice, though not that private as well

Some links for you to investigate if you really care about privacy:

There are more in the web.

Work harder. Seems like a lot of folks in this space could use this advice. https://dev.to/nikola/work-harder-52n4

actually from what I've seen, the first advise should be "just start to work" and your note only the second xD

Hi everyone. Currently new to the Crypto space and hoping I can learn a few things from here as well. Any resources on Million Token would be appreciated. I have three, but trying to understand the space a bit better.

It's just a token with limited supply (1KK coins) and minimal price 1$ (so it can't be lower), because @TL backed it by his own money.

There is nothing more to know. http://milliontoken.org/ - check the website.

MillionToken hits 1000 $. What is the first thing you do? (Please do not say SELL)
PS: Follow me and I'll follow you back
Reply 13 Link
@dolphin well, what can you do but sale? Tell everyone that you're wealthy? Until it falls and you're no more?

Wonderful platform. Where is the data stored?
Reply 3 Link
@cryptofolyo some SQL DB, there was a video TL talked about how he created it

@cryptofolyo I wonder why not create a crypto that will store messages and other content decentralized and make it appear by creating something. Proof of content.

Few ideas to evolve metafora

- Geo Tagging of tweets, I can see all tweets coming from nearby me. ( To maintain the anonymity the geotaging should be accurate only in 5 kilometre circle )
- Topic based tweet - Each tweet i can link with a list of pre approved list of topics
Like for example _ Coinpicking can be a topic.

- Visibility of a tweet must be based on the author of the tweet and his reputation in the domain. So eventually if my reputation in coinpicking topic increases then my tweets will be most visible in the domain of coinpicking.

@cryptofolyo you're the first guy to post actually something interesting here :)

Hey guys, I have an interesting question, don't know why I didn't thought about it earlier. We have supply of 1 000 000 coins and a lot of holders. Who are we buying from? For example I'm not going to sell my coins unless the price is measured in thousands.

So right now (as I understand) we're buying from markets, which some of guys sell to. But if we (holders) buy every single coin and stop selling, the price will increase drastically, because we will create deficit and no one will be able to buy a single MM but on our conditions.

So what I suggest is to participate in buying our coins off market. It should be done in waves. Let's imagine, we (a hundred pals) agreed to buy some more coins at the same time tomorrow. We do it -> price go up -> some of this hundred sell instantly to gain the profit, but part of the coins are in our hands. So we repeat this "wave of buying" until we (true holders) have all the coins in our hand. Now we can control the future. What do you say?

@0xe0aac13ae07a44794815c1ff003d1c0ecb05998e it's not classic whale practice because I didn't invite 5 people to buy off 80% of coins. I rather everyone to buy at the same time as much as this "everyone" isn't scared to lose. This will get the attention, move price up and we'll see what's next.

The difference is like between capitalism and communism actually. Can't you see it?

@BankHead you can collect small stones, it's free. But thinking that your stones are gonna be worth as much as gold (at some point in the future that will be good for you) is a naïve mistake, sorry.

@0xe0aac13ae07a44794815c1ff003d1c0ecb05998e I see, it's okay.

One note: there is no such thing as "ogranic growth". Most of ups and downs are reactions to some events. Part of them is "synthetically" created by pumpers and dumpers or whatever you called it. Some are not, but if we decide to "pump" for example, how the price reacts - is gonna be organic anyway.

So there is no "ogranic growth" because every movement is ogranic. We can't have it not-ogranic once the community is more than a few fellows. Think about it:)

@0xe0aac13ae07a44794815c1ff003d1c0ecb05998e so you think that someone in the world cares enough about you to actually do something for your wealth.

What TL will do, he will do for his own good, just as any other sane person on the Earth.

So it's totally clear what you're telling and somehow it just doesn't make any sense. I sincerely wish you a great life :)

Metafora if code is open sourced could be modified by every coder on the planet, all changes voted on by the Million token Coin holders. And code reviewed and approved by tech lead or whoever. This idea is inline with web 3, and we could get so much more accomplished. We could have an exchange, games, dating, marketplace, whatever all done quicker. This could take down fb and Twitter. Social media by people for people. Million token would be viewed as ownership in the company like a stock would be. Staking is a dividend.

@Cam_271 Open-source should be default for projects like this. I'm sure TL understands it, and I think he just has reasons not to do so.

Probably there are imperfect jQuery solutions and he just scared to show it after all this talks about Google and FB.

Or probably there is too much data collected from us.

I think there is reason similar to what I described. Did someone actually got through the front-end code?
Reply 0 Link
@Cam_271 I agree, I am for open-source (I am actually develop all my own projects open-source), just pointed out that there are probably reasons why TL doesn't want to open metafora's code.

@9xkiwi.eth google how to clean cached meta images in twitter, there should be service for it, where you just paste url and it updates. Everyone can do it.

Hey guys, just curious... What's the average age of everyone here? I'm only 15 and plan on becoming a millionaire by 20 (I know that's hopeful lol)

@0x35e67292aab143ce6636859bf0f4457ae8e651c6 advise? Find what you like and work on that. Only by working you have the real chances to become a millionaire

@TL, please, switch logo to SVG or higher quality PNG, it looks like shit on my screen because of the quality...

I’ve been too busy to post on here, so today I finally did. I do follow misol and time travelers videos best I can. So I’m not sure if I’m in the know more than others. But here’s what I think million token needs. We need at least a few development teams. One to focus on the crypto roadmap stuff. A second one to work on meta fora app. Then we need to open this code up so that there’s more people contributing to the project than just tech lead. IMO we have to be first to market with the metafora app, which means we need to get it pretty much completed asap. Then we have something no other coin has. The real question I have is how does web 3 social media site make money? If this answer is it doesn’t, then I would sell my tokens. However, I remember when fb went public and people said how does fb make money. Then it turned out just having eyes and ears makes ad money. So this is our chance to be in on early fb, and people are losing site of that. We just need to improve the product and then the big m

I would say, that an ideal web3 project (like social media platform) should be backed by decentralization.

Content is owned by users, decentralized and backed by it's coin in such a way, that creating content is automatically makes you own coins and coins own content.

So everything is pointing out to something else and to nothing. I'd call it simulacra loop. It might be not clear right now, but it's where postmodernists vector directs us. Enjoy your ride :)

I'll repeat that it's only my vision.

@0xae07d0d7da0b34707acfb225c1400649c1f30112 it's gonna be about crypto.

Even right now we have some ways:
- like in token based games
- like NFTs (creating and reselling content with commission)
- mining through JavaScript

And god knows what we gonna develop in the future

@0xae07d0d7da0b34707acfb225c1400649c1f30112 you're thinking web2. From my reason, web3 HAVE to be different. There shouldn't be monopolies like Google or Apple who's selling your data. Because if there are gonna be, why the hell call it web3? Web should be independent and not owned by tech giants.

I feel it like time with smart self-backed mechanisms in terms of monetization. Open source too. But it's not gonna be today or in a few years. Facebook will last much longer.

I just ******* hope I feel right cause I'm tired of this shit.

Well, at least I'm gonna do all I can to make web the way I described.
