@Simonsaysz Is there an option to maintain the current logo?

@Simonsaysz I want to vote to leave it alone, it's @TL that created it. let it be. Too many cooks ruin the meal!

@MM-Matt the current logo is a stock, free logo that TL chose to fill the space while developing the meat and bones of the product. We'll be seen as a joke if we have cheaply used that as opposed to something the community designed in what is supposed to be a decentralized, high-value token & project. It's not an option on the vote because it's not an option... and we don't want whale votes going to waste on a very bad branding decision.

@MM-Matt the concern was always branding and marketing-illiterate whales voting for something detrimental to the brand so those options were left off

@MM-Matt a free logo which anyone in the world can make and legally use in 2min is not good enough

@MM-Matt my second point is not a personal opinion. A stock image which is not trademarkable or original in the slightest for a "millionaire's" token and something TL wants to make big is not going to work. Imagine in a few years when there are a few logos looking exactly the same because everyone in the world is allowed to use it. It's an idiotic branding decision.

@Simonsaysz My vote is for a current logo :)

@MM-Matt I didn't have anything to do with the proposal btw. Where were you a month ago when we were discussing the correct way to do things?

@MM-Matt propose that to someone who makes governance votes if you want your voice heard but you should've spoken up last month. I'd argue the "correct" way to do it would be to vote to change the logo vs not change the logo FIRST and then once you've taken the leap you don't look back and you choose the direction forward otherwise too many biases come into play with "oh my fave option isn't winning, lets just stick with what I'm comfortable with".

@MM-Matt okay so let's say we keep the current logo - a stock logo with literally only the colour being changed by TL's own admission - is that good for the metafora and MM brand?

@Hero the option to leave as is was not on the vote as the community’s objective is to update the logo. The current logo is already being used by a another business. It’s best for metafora’s future to have an original brand image. We submitted the logos at the request of TL.

@Simonsaysz these designs are boring, twitters logo design is not boring. The logo need to attract users from at least 13+ ages as well.

@GodsMillions yes controversy usually brings eyes to the project in most cases it’s what makes a project.

if it can be found on the first page of Adobe free logo maker then it shouldn't be an option. An option was disqualified for lack of originality so then technically TL's logo is disqualified too.

@MM-Matt TL asked the community to submit logos and best way is via the proposal. Metafora is an original concept and community agreed it’s logo should be custom designed. Logo contest was for over 2 weeks and there was not one single objection to the change so the 4th option to keep was not considered. You can write up another proposal to vote to keep the current logo as edits cannot be done to the active proposal.

@MM-Matt the purpose of finding a winning logo is to use it to replace the stock logo. This current logo is already being used in black n white version by an existing business. We need to move n update quick before it looks worse. Branding and image is everything! Metafora deserves a custom logo.

@MM-Matt just write your own proposal and submit that stock logo should be kept. Allow community to vote on your proposal. Change can only happen via the governance vote.

@GodsMillions I would love to see what these whales posted

@MM-Matt the community wanting to vote for a stock logo which can literally be used by any company is the problem. Rookies.
