@RomanistHere Totally agree. And, there's nothing wrong if someone uses this medium as means of entertainment, and chooses to spend money that way.
Mind you, I used to build gambling software, and tend to see the same behavior. The problem starts when those that don't have a spare buck, come in and spend that which they couldn't afford to lose. I don't want to turn this into an "OK, boomer" post, but it's no wonder why there are so many broke ex lottery winners. I'm of the belief that if you didn't earn something more-less the hard way, you'll have a harder time of appreciating it.

@0xe6eeaf017fde806c78929b07b6bec670cc7c9149 why work, if you can buy the next bitcoin for 10 bucks and be a millionaire in 10 years, right?
There are always gonna be people who wouldn't want to work and will search for "shortcuts". If everyone understood that there are none, we would probably walked on Mars right now :) Happy to see that some people here understand what's happening.

@RomanistHere totally 👍
And, not that there's anything wrong with those that work 'hard' AND actually 'get to the moon' via smart/lucky/xyz investments. It's just that (I'd love to see actual stats behind this claim) IMHO those that already 'have' the money, tend to be smarter with it when they 'struck big'. We're on the same page, so I won't continue to beat the dead horse. All the best to you 👋
