Scientist figured out some time ago that the universe is expanding, and the expansion is accelerating.
They could not figure out why that was so they just called the energy causing it "dark energy" and moved on.
Turned out it was actually the pumpment of Million token that exploded so rapidly it rekted the time-space continium on a universal scale, pumping the universe with it.
